?? People Want to Know How I Stay So Calm Teaching Learner Drivers! ??

It’s a question I get all the time: “How are you so calm while teaching people to drive?” ??

Well, after some of the things I’ve experienced on the road, a nervous learner driver is the least of my worries!

Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane…

? Brakes? What Brakes?
Ever had your brakes fail while driving a truck? I have. Instead of panicking, I had to think fast, take control, and find a safe way to stop. If I can handle that, I can definitely handle a learner who’s a little heavy on the pedals!

? The Great Bird Incident ??
Picture this: You’re driving along when—BAM!—a bird flies straight into your car. Not only is it inside with you, but it’s also flapping, panicking, and pecking your hand while feathers explode everywhere. Did I freak out? Nope. I calmly pulled over, opened the door, and let my unexpected passenger continue on its way.

? Dodging Disaster on the Daily
When you’ve driven trucks for as long as I have, you learn to expect the unexpected. Cars pulling out in front of me? Happens all the time. Vehicles slamming on their brakes at an amber light while I’m behind them in a fully loaded truck? Been there, done that—without a scratch.

So, when a nervous learner grips the steering wheel like their life depends on it, I get it. But trust me, I’ve seen worse! My job is to stay calm, guide you through it, and help you feel confident behind the wheel.

If you’re looking for a patient, experienced, and unshakable driving instructor, you’ve found one!
